Shadow

Photography is a way to capture and celebrate life. In this album, I've assembled some of my favorite photographs of Shadow and I will add pictures of new furbabies. Shadow came to me on a hot day in August of 1987, he was with me until May 31 2004 the day he crossed over to Rainbow Bridge. Shadow was the best friend a gal could ever ask for, his love was constant and unconditional, he was my rock, my mountain, my guiding light, he was the light of my life, and he will hold a special place in my heart forever, and I truly miss him. He was my buddy, my boy and I loved him so. Always he will be in my heart. Please enjoy his pictures.

My name is Patty, I live in Hamilton Ontario. Shadow was my cat, and I enjoyed his companionship for 17 yrs. He was my buddy, and I will miss him dearly.

My husband is Jim, we have been together for 6 yrs. After Shadow crossed to Rainbow Bridge, I happend to come across a website that offered help to others that were overwhelmed with grief and loss of their pets, that site was

www.petloss.com and I have met the most amazing people, and made many friends since that day. Please take the time to enjoy these pictures of Shadow and many others who have crossed over, this site includes pictures of our pets that are still with us as well.

After Shadow crossed my heart and home was empty, so we welcomed Shasta into

our home, and let me tell you, it had been years since we had a kitten, and we certainly

had our hands full, not to mention the scratches and bite marks she inflicted upon us.

So after Shasta, here comes Phanta, just can't seem to stop at one, we decided after Shasta figured I was a human scratching post and teething ring, that perhaps a playmate would be sufficient. So meet Phanta. Phanta was the result of a dream, at first the dream that in the begining made no sense, yet there I found her just as though she had been put there for us to find.

Today is May 31 2005, 1year since "Shadow" has passed, and to my eyes I could not believe what I woke up to, I woke to the most beautiful Double Rainbow much like the rainbow that I saw the day after he passed.
